About the Author

The owner and author of this blog is Saul T. Wadder. Saul has been keeping freshwater aquariums since he was 15 years old. He tried, unsuccessfully to start a salt water aquarium years back, but gave up. About 6-months ago and more than 15 years since his last attempt, he is trying to give it another go. Saul’s plan is to capture his learnings, product suggestions, and insight here on Saltwater Blogger.net.

Saul’s first job was in a pet store maintaining aquariums and selling fish and supplies when he was 15. He was hired over to another store a year later as the aquarium specialist. The store did very well and soon moved to another 5,000+ square foot location. At the time, the largest pet store in the area and containing one of most technically sophisticated aquatic systems around. Saul was influential in the system creation and supervised the design, construction and set-up of the tanks. Saul was promoted to evening manager and worked there until he graduated from college and started his career in IT.
